They said, "In this scenario, bigger isn’t always better. The aspiration for a new era of profitability must be met with sustained investment in innovation that delivers on both radical improvement and transformation."
Focusing on innovation and technology could create possibilities for these companies to scale sustainably. After mergers, sometimes businesses can grow more quickly than they can handle. We will see what happens!

The Mexican parliament’s lower house voted to press ahead with the proposed overhaul of the country’s mining laws which include shortening concessions, tightening water permits and giving back some profits, moves criticized by industry leaders.
Mexico’s mining output grew in February, as sulfur production surged. Overall production was up 0.8%, compared with the same month last year, following a 2.5% rise registered in January, according to data from statistics agency Inegi.
